Program Description

This course is designed to produce diploma graduates who are technically competent, professional and well respected in the industry who wish to work towards managerial level.

The course provides a sound knowledge base of concepts and skills in Accounting and is developed through class work, course work, team work and tasks.

Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include; assistant accountants, office managers, administration managers and budget officers.

Entry Requirement

1. A pass in SPM or O-level or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics, and a pass in English; OR

2. A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least B in any 3 subjects including Mathematics and pass in English. OR

3. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR

4. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Grade of Maqbul (pass) and credit in Mathematics a a pass in English at SPM level.

5. A pass in SKM level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English; OR

6. A certificate or its equivalent in a related field.
