Course Content

Program Description

This course focus is on databases as the core base of application development for companies as well as on network security for better protection of the company’s ICT systems. Students will go through a project to simulate a real work project. Student are also prepared for academic advancement to enhance their careers should they wish to pursue advance skills and knowledge.

The programme duration is 3 years.

Entry Requirement
i. A pass in SPM or O-Level with at least credit in any 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification;  OR

ii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia(STPM), with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject or any equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR 

iii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia(STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;  OR

iv. A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR 

v. A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least B in any 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics; OR

vi. A pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (MQF Level 3) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent. 

Note : 

Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level. 

Candidate with a credit in a computing-related subject at SPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
