From 20–23 April 2026, a total of 25 Diploma in Tourism students from MDIS Malaysia explored the vibrant charm of George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Throughout the trip, students visited iconic attractions such as Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si Temple, and Chew Jetty, gaining firsthand insights into tourism facilities, cultural heritage, and natural attractions.

Students also immersed themselves in local markets and cultural spaces, experiencing Penang’s rich multicultural identity, traditions, and food culture.

This field trip provided valuable real-world exposure to tourism management, destination development, and visitor experience, bringing classroom learning to life.
